Detailed Management Plans
Kapha + Ama/Agni axis
Type 2 Diabetes (Madhumeha)
Kapha imbalance with sluggish Agni; focus on bitters, movement, and circadian meal timing.
- Kapha-pacifying plate: barley/millet + bitter gourd + greens
- Main meal at midday; light dinner by 6:30 PM
- Post-meal walk 15-20 minutes
- Turmeric 500-1000 mg with black pepper, 2x daily
- Fenugreek 1 tsp soaked AM; cinnamon 1/4 tsp with meals
- Gymnema 250 mg after lunch (Mon/Wed/Fri) or bitter melon juice 1 oz AM
- Amla 1 tsp after breakfast; neem 1/2 tsp mid-morning (Tue/Thu/Sat)
- Pancreatic stimulants: Dhanurasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Halasana
- Surya Namaskar 10-12 rounds; twists and forward bends
- Anulom Vilom, Kapalbhati; Bhramari wind-down
- Brahma Muhurta wake, abhyanga, warm lemon water
- Digital detox after 7:30 PM; sleep by 10 PM

Hypertension (Rakta Chapa Vriddhi)
Cooling, calming plan emphasizing potassium-rich foods, parasympathetic breath, and light evenings.
- Potassium/magnesium-rich plate: greens, celery, cucumber
- Low-sodium; use rock salt sparingly
- Olive oil, walnuts; avoid stimulants and heavy fats
- Arjuna, Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Punarnava (dose per clinician)
- Chamomile or Brahmi tea evening
- Restorative set: Viparita Karani, supported Setu Bandha, Shavasana
- Breath: Nadi Shodhana 4-4-8, Bhramari, Ujjayi
- Avoid inversions with strain or long retentions
- Morning abhyanga with cooling oil; nature walk

Anemia (Pandu Roga)

- Iron with vitamin C at meals: lentils + lemon, spinach + citrus
- Ragi, barley, quinoa; sesame seeds daily
- Avoid tea/coffee 2 hours post-meal; light dinner

- Punarnava 250-500 mg after lunch (Mon/Wed/Fri)
- Guduchi 1/2 tsp morning/evening (Tue/Thu/Sat)
